Nepal's prominent leaders from various sectors discussed the need for staying alive through the dangers of leading at the "Nepal Leadership Conference 2016" organized by Daayitwa. Gagan Thapa, Leela Mani Paudyal and Sapana Pradhan Malla discussed the importance of exercising leadership for the right thing even by risking one's life and career. With the theme of "Redefining Leadership," the conference focused on five topics - civil movements, entrepreneurship, rebuilding, governance and women leadership. In the opening session, Thapa, Paudyal and Malla shared their personal experience on how they managed to take a stand in a critical situation while they were holding key positions.
